Can anyone suggest or recommend a webpage with desktop background images suitable for a wide-screen monitor set at 1680x1050 resolution?

Hey, I'll answer to myself, since I just found a good site with free high resolution pictures for all sorts of monitor sizes.

For my resolution, they have almost 1,000 free high resolution images. Very nice site.

Well, I guess I'm the only one excited about this. That's cool. I think it's the - "oh yey, I just bought a new widescreen monitor and I'm stoked with it" - syndrome. Anyway, I'm always open to hear of where I can find some more desktop images in high-resolution. Okay, okay, I'll quit hogging up the forum for this thread.

www.deviantart.com has some pretty good wallpapers. Congratulations on the monitor and finding a website.
