My friend askef for some help picking out a computer. How does this look? Some of the choices are based off of current sales. There will be gaming, but nothing extreme. Trying to keep the price below $1000, but preferably around $800. We already have a disc drive, and a Radeon HD 7850.

Fractal Design Define XL $89.99
Seagate Hybrid Drive 2tb 6.0gb/s $99.99
Crucial M500 120GB SSD $89.99
CORSAIR TX Series 650W $69.99
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) $79.99
i5-4570 $199.99

Which motherboard would be better?
ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 $129.99
ASRock Fatal1ty Z87 LGA 1150 $109.00

Thanks for your time. Look forward to your input

Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3: $115,
Make sure the RAM is 2133MHz, worth it in the long run (about $5-10 more than 1600MHz often)
Samsung 840 Evo: $119
I assume the 2TB Hybrid drive is on sale, otherwise that's very cheap. Go with that.
As for the case. I wouldn't buy the Define XL again (Still have it, I just moved to an Arc Midi R2). The XL R2 perhaps, but not the R1. I ended up replacing the fans because they are silent, but weak. They basically have to run at 100% to keep your internals cool. Get a Arc Midi R2 or Define R4 in my opinion. The XL is also huuuge and heavy, way overkill for the build you're planning.

Thank you. We went with that mother board and SSD. He ended up getting my case, the corsair carbide 300r because he liked the way it looks.
