Desktop capture software

I would like to produce some good quality tutorials for various programs. Therefore I'm looking for a good desktop capture software.

It would be best if it would be free, but I wouldn't mind paying a small fee, if the software is worth it. I'm not too interested in recording my game-play (although it would be nice if that would be possible too), but mainly for capturing of what I do and how I do it with certain programs.

Fraps is by far some of the simplest and best. It's only $37, but well worth it.

It is possible to hit much software on the internet.You can buy softwares or try them for free (trial).I'm using Gadwin Print Screen.It's a very useful software.There's a list about the 5 best screen capture software:

Thanks guys. After some reading ad trying, I've downloaded a test version of FRAPS, tested it and since it worked just fine, I bought it too. Thanks for the advice.

I use BB flash back already for a long time and it's pretty good.
