Desktop cleaners

As a lot of things are free nowadays. I thought I ask

Is there such thing as a free version of desktop cleaner.

One click of a button and the whole desktop is clean. I have too many icons scattered on my desktop.

Any recommendations appreciated.

I wonder if its built into windows 7???
 
Why not just spend the less than 5 minutes it would take and delete the desktop icons you don't want?
 
Select the area of your screen you want to clean, hit "delete". How simpler can this be? :/
 
Drag over icons you don't want
Press delete
Pay yourself $15 for being a desktop cleaner
