I have an old hp nc4400 notebook and using xp pro as an O/S. I configure the icons in an organized fashion by application type as all utility apps grouped together ans so on. Every time there is a power failure for a 1 secondond time duration the computer starts to shut off but doesnt because the battery is still good but when it regains all the organized icons are all mixed up over the desk top. Is there a way to regain this without having to manually position each icon all over again?
 
I figured it out..... Rearrange the icons the way you want them and go in to display properties and save as a new theme.
