you can either a permenantly installed tv card that goes in your machine just like gpu, or a plug in usb freeview dongle, i have a tevion one from aldi was not expensive i think about £40, you can either just plug it in when you want to use it, or i have mine in rear usb socket and just leave aerial connected to it so its always ready to go, you dont get any encrypted channels you get full freeview, and it has built in recorder, so if you record say top gear, it records straight to your hard drive !
Do you have a link? I can't find one. Does this come with a remote? how do I tell it to record?

i dont know if those exact ones will work prob not as there for uk, but no doubt if you look on some of your similar sites in canada you will find the same thing just search for

usb dvb tuner, or if you just browse similar sites look for tv tuners section.

yeah thats exactly what your looking for you might get sum channels you cant recieve over there because you tend to get more pay per view, but it says you get all free to air satellite channels, and as for you graphics you just make without having to add an gpu card, it says it requires 128mb onboard, and looking your motherboard, lol you have exactly 128mb onboard :)

How do I know which channels I can use it with? Once the shows are on my computer am I limited as to how I can use it?

I'll probably have to look at getting a dedicated GPU then.

i dont know much about canadian tv, but you should get most or all channels that are free to watch, you shouldnt need a gpu, you meet the minimum requirements, and as for using your recordings, i think you can keep them on your drive, convert them for your mobile phone, or media player, as long as your not recording films, then burning them to disc and sell them, you shold be ok to use your recording for yourself as you wish.
