Desktop Recommendations?

Hello everyone,

My desktop (custom build that I bought from a friend) just died after many good years of use. The hard drive is shot, which I know could be replaced, but all of the components are old now and I'd like to invest in a new computer. I started to shop online, but got totally overwhelmed by the options!

I'm not looking to build and was hoping to get some recommendations. I work from home and am looking for a reliable desktop. I use a lot of Adobe programs and will need it for video meetings, etc. I don't game.

I'd like to spend $800 or less, but would consider investing more if necessary.

Thanks so much for your input!

You can get a 10th generation i5 with dedicated GPU for around $700.
If you're not a heavy video editor, that should be good for your Adobe works.

If you increase your budget up to under $1,000, you can get the i7, SSD and a more powerful GPU.
