I have a strange problem with my recently built computer. It has an asus p6t deluxe v2 motherboard, Intel core i7 920, ati hd 5770, g.skill ssd and an Amptac 850w power supply.
My Problem is when i press the power button to turn on my computer it usually turns on but there are sometimes where it won't do anything, the lights will light up, and everything starts to run, but it doesn't POST and won't do anything. it's as if the 8 pin power connector isn't connected, but when you press the power button again to turn it off, then repress it to turn it on again, it will turn on.
I would appreciate any help or advise you can give as to why this is happening.
