I am planing on building a laptop, and was browsing for a good processor. and was wondering if when im building the laptop if i could put a desktop processor in the laptop?

You will not be able to build your own laptop. The best you can do is customize one at a website. And no, you wouldn't be able to put a desktop cpu inside a laptop.

Yeah you can't custom-build laptops I'm afraid, and desktop CPUs won't work in a laptop.

You could get a bare bones laptop, which is very expensive and are hard to find.
