My computer will not fully boot. I recently upgraded to all the compnents in my sig below. I removed two GB of the ram and I got it to post to the bios screen. It will also start to load windows for about 5 seconds, before blinking a blue error screen for only a split second and restarting. I am using my existing hdd from my old motherboard and Pentium D. I am also running XP 32 Pro at the moment. I am guessing this is my main problem. Thank you for any help!

You cannot use the same hdd from the old pc without formatting the harddrive.. Different mobo different hardware = confused and automatically shutting down windows. You have to totally start from scratch wipe that drive and reinstall windows and then you will be able to access it..

repair installs wont fix the drivers and different motherboard and processor you have to do a total clean install unfortuinately sorry...

Majorly.
Like losing all your photos, movies, and important documents because windows won't boot.

Thank God for Linux LiveCD NTFS read/Write capability!

Yeah, I just need to re-install my old setup and pull anything off I need, no biggie I guess just more of a pain. I think Linux is amazing, unfortunately I have not had the time to really mess around with it and thus I don't want to run it yet.
