S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Cernobyl.

I'm installing it right now. Did anyone played it? How is it?
Will it work with my Ati Radeon 9550 256 MB video card?

The minimum video card i believe is a 7800.. which is like an x800 radeon?
not sure... i'm pretty sure it will stress the hell out of it though, i'd suggest a X2 5000+ cpu or higher (or an equivalent intel)

UPDATE: according to wikipedia my card would work
Minimum:
Windows 2000 (SP 4)
Intel Pentium IV 2 GHz / AMD Athlon XP 2200+
512 MB RAM, 10 GB hard disk space
nVidia GeForce 5700 / ATI Radeon 9600 / 128MB DirectX 9c compatible video card
My video card is 256 MB

What Pixel Shader does it need? I have PixShader 2.

Yes, i think your card would barely work.
memory doesn't matter as much as chipset.
Yours is the 9550, whilst the minimum is the 9600.

I played many games where the minimum was 9600 and yet worked just fine.
It also says "ATI Radeon 9600 / 128MB DirectX 9c compatible video card ". Mine is 256 MB, so i think it will work just fine on medium or low settings.

i'm guessing low ha.
memory is really only super relevant when you meet the core/memory values
ex. a card with a 500mhz core, and a 700mhz ddr mem
then a card that's 600/800... the latter only has 128mb, but will still outperform the first.

Okay i finally got few mins to try the game... nice graphics, nice because it's a non-linear game (usually I don't like too much linear games, Half Life makes an exception because it's a combined 3D puzzle and FPS)
I don't know yet about the storyline... I only played for 10 mins or so, and I only got to the point where you first use your weapon (and i died there :D)
