Did Clean Windows XP Reinstall-How do I get my ISP connected?

Well I actually did it. My first attempt at a clean reinstall of XP and everything went pretty smooth. My only problem is I can't seem to figure out how to connect my ISP so I can get on the internet. I have my ISP through my cable company. I have my phone,cable and internet with the same company and my internet connection is always on. Very satisfied with the speed of it. What do I need to do to get my internet up and running? I'm working on my old Dell and I was surprised the internet worked on it because the last I used it we only had dial-up. Thanks for the help!

Probable need to install your LAN drivers. What motherboard is it? Or the computer make and model.

It's a WinFast 6100M2MA-RS2H motherboard. I have the Drivers & Utilities CD. Would my LAN drivers be on that? Thanks!

Yeap, they should be. When you do a clean install always update your drivers. Pop the CD in and run the drivers program/list. All of them Chipset/sound/Lan.

Followed your advice and everything works perfectly! Popped the CD in and that fixed my internet problem. I'm so dang proud of myself for doing my first reinstall. Thanks for your help. John
