Hello all,
I'm new to the computer world, and so would appreciate the evaluations of those more seasoned than I regarding a purchase I recently made (before I knew of this forum!). I would like to hear if I made a good choice, or if there is something that I should have changed - particularly regarding the CPU speed. I am mostly using it for word processing, but I also run a complex Biblical language search program for sermon prep, as well as AV downloads and streaming.
The specs are as follows:
Dell Inspiron 1525, 15.4"
Running Vista Home Premium
Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 (1.83GHz/667Mhz FSB/2MB cache)
3GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz
160GB SATA Free Fall Hard Drive (7200RPM)
Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N Mini-card
six cell battery
Bluetooth keyboard and mouse (saves my back)
built in webcam
I paid 834.00 on a sale from Dell, so I thought it was a good buy.
Is there anything that I should have changed? Too much or too little of anything.
Your insights will be much appreciated.
