Did I get a good deal?

Hello, just wondering if I got a good deal on this Macbook Pro? I mean I obviously know the price from the Apple store, but I'm not used to spending this much money. I bought this brand new in packaging and sealed. Here's the link for the specs.

It's really just the basic Macbook Pro, but it does beat what I was about to buy (a black macbook with a lil higher specs than this pro with my student discount it would be $1399)

$1500 gone, good deal or bad deal?

 
Alot of the 2.2ghz versions have been going for ~1500.
BTW your link is dead, give us a link to the page of the item, before you buy it or anything.

You made the right choice for the MacBook Pro. Which one is it the 2.4GHz 15'' I would have went for the 2.5GHz 15 or the 17'' 2.5GHz either way the Entry level MacBook Pro is still pretty powerful. Congratz Also the MacBook Pro is faster than the MacBook in every dimension. Like the MacBook has built in graphics while the Pro has dedicated Nvidia 8600M GT 256MB (If you bought a 2.4GHz) or the 512MB (If you bought the new 2.5GHz) Also it has a faster HDD and is thinner 0.3'' thinner and a bigger display + Res
