Did I score a good deal?

Just wanting to ask you guys if you think this is a good deal, I thought it was terrific so I picked it up immediately. I noticed that their was an open item hp laptop that had been there awhile (I work there so I see this stuff a lot), I knew we had a $100 off any already lowered open item coupon and decided to check. (It had an old tag saying it's original price was 700 with 10% off for it being an open item.) I checked to see what it was now considering it was an older model, 449...not bad, 10% off = $405, $100 off = $305. As soon as I saw it I picked it up and went to the register. Here's the specs and tell me what you think about this and if it was a good deal or if it was just so so.

14" HP DM4-1135DX ( I think the box is too far away to tell and I'm too lazy to go look lol)
Processor = i5 540m
RAM = 4GB DDR3
HDD = 500GB 7200 RPM

I got the 1 year accidental plan (if nothing else it gets me a battery after a year, not to mention if i drop it it's covered.) For the price was it a steal?
 
it was a pretty good deal for a laptop, but its HP and HP is horrible, but for that price you got lucky :) even if it only last you a little bit ater the 1 year plan thing you got its still worth it lol
 
HP are fine. In fact most large companies use them for business laptops. That is a great deal imo.
