My concern is with the case being compatible with the motherboard...I was trying to keep the build under 1k, so I went cheap with the case as it won't be seen. Did I make a mistake? Can I use this case, or do I need a different one?? Please assist as I have the parts sitting in my living room ready to build. Thanks!

Thanks guys. I guess my concern is the USB ports, on the box that the case came in had the version for 2.0 USB ports, and there was another version listed on the box (unchecked) that said 3.0 USB ports. That's what got me worried.

Your board has USB 3.0, but it doesnt have a onboard USB 3.0 header for a case anyway, only rear I/O panel USB 3.0 ports. So your good. Your board does have USB 2.0 headers to hook to the case.

If I may, I have another question regarding the parts I chose....I have not yet started the build and was second guessing my choice of an i-5 2500k Sandy Bridge 3.3 Ghz. I have 30 days to return, and the Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge comes out 4/29, right? Should I return the 2500k and get the new one? Would it work with the current parts listed in the OP, or would I have to upgrade cooling or change anything else? Appreciate any feedback from the informed. I have learned a great deal by reading the what's and the why's certain parts work or don't work together. Please save me from myself if this is a bad idea.

The 2500k is still a great CPU. The new chip gives you like, 5-15% increase. But with your graphics card, it won't be using all the CPU. You'd be fine.

Can you please clarify Claptonman? That I'd be fine sticking with what I already have or I'd be fine with a new i5-3570K IB being compatible with the parts I already have? Sorry didn't understand which way you meant.

Bump for opinions...stick with the i-5 2500k that I already have or return it and order the new i5-3570K? Which would you go with?
