Well yesterday i had just turned on my computer and started playing some L4D2, all of a sudden it freezes and my screen gets loads of red lines all over the screen. So i shut it down and turned it up again and at the start up i was getting lines up and down the screen. So turned it off again and took out the graphics card. Turned on the computer again and everything was fine. Would could of happened to the graphics card if i had just barely turned on the computer. It was a Nvidia Geforce 7600GT EVGA iv'e owned it for about 2 years now. But the fan was still working before i took it out.

So currently you are using your onboard video?

Do you have a second card or pc to test this graphics card? This could be useful becaues it could be possible that your AGP or PCI-e port is dead but this is rare.

Good chance your card is shot though based on your description. Check to see if it is under warranty EVGA is the best.

From the looks of it my looks like my mothboard doesn't even have onboard video. All i get is. All try to test it on another computer and see if its the card.
Graphics Controller Type Intel GMA 950
Graphics Controller Status Enabled

It must have on board video because you took out your graphics card, and you said that it worked. You must have plugged the cable into on board video.

Oh ok because once i plugged in back into the vga port it was working fine. Once it loaded up it had downloaded a driver can't remember what it was called but it had to due with the graphics going back to orginial.

Yea, I would just see if you can get a replacement from EVGA, if not, a new cheap graphics card will be just as good if not better than your old one.

I've seen a few 7600s with bad caps so it wouldn't surprise me if that card's going bad. If you continue to have problems, contact evga. It's probably covered under their lifetime warranty.

I registered it on evga, then i view the product and it says its warranty has ended. But in their warranty length they show if your product number ends with a specific "2 letter" its under lifetime warranty. So i checked my 7600gt evga and it falls in that category. But i emailed evga to see if they can verify that i have lifetime warranty so i can "RMA" it.

If you can take pictures of the card and closeups of the capacitors we can help identify if they are blown or not. Or if you know what to look for, I'd check that. Cause if they don't RMA it and it is blown capacitors, it's an easy fix.

Well it turns out i don't got lifetime warranty on the card :( due to me being stupid and not registering on evga once i bought it from my friend. Well got to learn from my mistakes. Anyways i still don't know if its the card that shot out or my pci-e port stopped working.
