Difference between the Video Card Manufacturers

Greetings.

A few weeks back, i decided to buy a Radeon HD 5870 graphics card.

My choice was a Asus EAH5870 which was a little more expensive, but i chose it mainly cause i've always had motherboards and graphics cards from Asus and i've never been let down.

Now, 2 weeks ago, the shop i ordered the card from, contacted me and told me that my card would arrive February 20th. I was a bit desperate since my GPU is a 7900 GS. But i figured it would be worth the wait.

Today though, the shop contacted me again, and told me that my card would arrive March 11th.

So i thought i would look up the card elsewhere.

So i found a Club 3D Radeon HD5870 that was a little bit cheaper, but it would arrive in 2-3 days.

Now, i was wondering. Is there such a big difference between Asus and Club 3D? Is there really such a big difference between various manufacturers?

Thanks for your time :)

warranty, customer service, and other things like that differ from company to company (in my experience). i don't think that overclocking really differs with these cards from company to company seeing as how they are all pretty much identical. but different companies do have different cooling sometimes and that can limit the overclocking. i have not had different brands of the same card so don't quote me here on the overclocking.
