Differences

X2s are AMDs mainstream Dual Core line. With the exception of the FX-60 and FX-62, the FX series are single core. They are designed as enthusiast chips, and feature unlocked multipliers for better overclocking.

atm getting a FX processor is pretty much a waste of money tough... the C2D's are a better deal. (Oh my... did i just say that? :o )

i've had an fx-57 and currently have an fx-60, but i'm far from being rich, lol. i don't feel it's a waste of money though if you plan to overclock. i currently have a 300mhz overclock on mine, but i haven't really messed with it as i was waiting for the grease to "cure" and never got back to it. maybe i'll see what i can do this weekend.
