Different DS3 question

Is the DS3 compatible backwards to the s775 P4 Prescott's? New egg doesn't seem to list it, but I thought maybe it was an "assumed" thing. I want to make sure.

I'm getting some extra cash in the next few weeks and wanted to buy the board, some decent 800Mhz ram, and a 7600GT now and drop my P4 into it to run it until I can get around to buying the allendale.

So, compatibility?

The DS3 that we are all familiar with.

A-Data has a good name in Asia. Think about THIS though. 800Mhz, CAS 5 on **1.8V**. This memory, unless I get a really bad stick, ought to be able to either do CAS 4 timings or go up to 900Mhz with a .2 overvolt, maybe .3. Either way, its still a damn good price if left stock. It was in stock last night, but seems to have gone out of stock again.

eVGA 7600GT for 110 bucks! I was going to go with an X850 to get me by till DX10 cards drop, but this is a BIG steal at this price. Hell, makes me almost want to SLI lol.

So on top of all this I will eventually go E6300, but I want to get by for the time being. Hell, maybe I can get my Prescott to OC a bit. Oh yeah, also going to be buying an Arctic Freezer 7. I'm into the whole bang/buck thing. I'm a stingy guy.

I'd rather go for the smaller, less power hungry card. It may not have quite the horsepower under the hood, but as said it is SM 3.0 compatible and such. I think it'll also do better in the long run for carrying on in later computers after this one is replaced too.

Thanks for the link and confirmation Cromewell! Appreciate it.
