Different page numbering in Word 2004/2008 for Mac?

I can't figure out how to do different page numbering in Word 2004 or 2008 for the Mac. I know there's a Link to Previous button on Word 2007 for Windows but there doesn't seem to be one on the Mac version. Where do I go?

Different numbering is easy, though i barely get what you're trying to say
did you check under the formatting palette ?

What I want is to use two different page numbering styles in the one document (i.e. have one part of the document saying Page 1 of 2, Page 2 of 2 and the other part saying the roman numeral "i" in the appendix). The document is comprised of three pages.
