Hi there!
I recently bought a new system and have installed XP on it. It was completely new and unused, and I even formatted the hard drive, before installing Windows XP Professional with my CD, the same CD I have used in the past.
Now, as I said, I've used this CD many times to clean-up and re-install XP onto my older machine, however something is different on this new machine...
The windows logon sound. On the old machine I could describe it as being quite bright and happy, with something sounding like strings or keyboards in a short, 3 second melody.
Now, on this new computer, even after using the SAME installation CD, the music at logon was, from the beginning, a new track with "bongo-drum" type things and bubbly instruments...
Is there a reason for this change?! Thanks for the help
