HI everyone,

First, is it possible to add RAM to a Mac iBook labtop?

Second, how do I go to the task manager in a Mac? Like ctrl-alt-delete on PC, how do you get there on a Mac. (I need to see how much RAM I am using so I can buy right kind)

Third, what is difficulty level on this? I can build a desktop computer and all that good stuff, but I have never really touched a Mac (the mac book is my sister's).

Any comments/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you

I'm not sure about the ram thing, but CTRL ALT DELT. is Apple key-option(alt)-esc...thats how you force quit to see info click on desktop go to the apple in the top left and go to get info

First, it's LAPTOP :P

I'm sure there's some way to add RAM to the iBook. I'm quite sure it's basic laptop RAM.

I remember seeing some sort of task manager deal on my Mac, but I don't know of a button sequence to access it. I got to it somewhere though the apple menu or control pannel. I'm not at my mac so I can't say for sure... Hehe, I might be thinking of something else :o

Difficulty level in what? Upgrading the mac's RAM? It shouldn't be any harder than removing a cover and popping in the new RAM. Or if it has a single slot, removing the old and putting the new in.
