Dilemma: Buy S939-based system, or get/wait for AM2/Conroe?

A friend of mine is about to purchase/build a new PC. With Conroe right around the corner, and AM2 already out, it's tough to decide what to get.

In your opinion, should he get a 939-based system (DFI SLI board, x2 4200+, 2gigs 2-3-3-6 pc3200, 7950).. or should he wait for Conroe? AM2 probably wouldn't even be a consideration, because it seems it's going to be short-lived, anyway.

Definetly Conroe. I'm pretty sure that Conroe compatible mobos will work with Kentsfield when it comes out, so even more upgradability.
