Dilemma

So for my build I'm about to finally start purchasing parts for (yay!) I was planning to use something like two of theseWestern Digital Black (2TB, 64MB cache, 7200 rpm, sata 6), but I remember them being like $150 each....now if you click on the link you'll see they're $250 each. But at my local Best Buy they have these Seagate barracuda (2TB, 32MB cache, 5900 RPM and sata 3) drives for only $75. My dilemma is that for less than the price of one of the caviar blacks i could get two of the Seagate drives. I plan on using the computer for a lot of gaming, quickbooks, photoshop and was just wondering what you guys thought would be the better deal. My MOBO will have sata 6 in it so I can upgrade later if I choose too and use these drives as network storage or just add more drives later.

I guess really I'm asking do you think for the time being I should go with the Seagates and maybe upgrade later, if it's going to be a huge performance problem or not? I didn't think it would because for the money I'll save I plan on purchasing an SSD for my OS, but figured better to ask just in case.

Get a smaller 1TB 7200rpm drive as the main drive and a slower 2TB drive as storage.

That sounds like a plan. I'll pick one of these up tomorrow so I can have some storage on the cheap. Thanks for the advice

Well I guess they sold both of the drives before I got their today :(. And I can't order them...guess I'm gonna have to settle for a single TB for a little while :(
