Directory comparison tool

Hello Everybody. I am looking for directory comparison tool for windows or linux which allows for compare and merge up to 7 folders. Have any proposals?

need an example. Like if files in one directory are missing on the other duplicate directory you would like them copied and duplicated. or and if a directory was created you would like it backed somewhere else and the directorys updated at times. hope it made sense. What about sync built into windows. At least with pro or ultimate has it.
