Disable task bar on windows XP

I am looking to disable the taskbar on windows XP for user accounts on a network. Is this possible? Does anyone have the answer?

do you mean the task manager? the task bar does not really have any funtionality that would need disabling, it just houses the start menu, and the current open windows
