That is pretty low, there have been many theads here on how their 7800GT gives them low scores. I get 5618 on my system.

yeah, i downloaded the free version, opened it, and immediately ran it. i guess this is default settings

What are the temps of your CPU and video card?

obtaining from Everest Home Edition, my cpu is at 28 C right now and gpu 50 C. after running the benchmark the cpu was in the 30s and the gc was around 62. the north bridge is at 51 C right now, and was close the the gc's temps after the benchmark was complete..

close everything running, get the latest drivers or ask ppl in 3dmark05 forum for what drives are the best. Make sure ur desktop is set to performance not quality. And maybe OC your video card if you want to.
