disc clean up???

i am low on memory and i have tried to add space using partion tool and my laptop is having none of it for some reason i do not know :/

why you right click C: drive and click properties and then there is a option to (DISC CLEAN UP) i was once told not to click this because it will muck up my laptop????

if i am too click this will it free up some memory and will it not ruin my laptop???

I'm not sure what your OS is but you can click on it.
It won't delete anything unless you tell it to.
It will scan your system and tell you how much space you can free up.
If you are worried just run the scan, do a screenshot and post it here for more info.
