I haven't done this since days of Windows 98 or Windows XP days, but why did deleting "System error memory dump files" and "Temporary files" in Disk Cleanup always cause errors in the past? What are those files used for anyway? And why would Windows even offer them as available options to check off and delete if they will just cause errors? Or are they safe to delete now with Windows 7 and Windows 8?
