Display is cut off

I've just connected my hdmi lead from my PC to my TV and the display is now cut off, i have messed about in the display settings trying to change resoulution etc. but nothing has worked. My grphics card is a SAPPHIRE HD 7850 OC 2GB GDDR5. Any help is much appreciated.

Ive done before with laptop to tv screen. Have to change tv mold on tv to get it to work. Just a thought.
Im talking about the tv/video mode.

It's more likely the TV being weird. Set the resolution of the video card to the default res of the TV. Then try and change like picture format or something like that on the TV. Different TV's have different names for the same function.

Look in your catalyst or vision settings for scaling options. This will happen when using hdmi.
