Display Properties, Desktop, Background list.

Two days ago, for no apparent reason, the problem described below appeared on my pc.

Problem: Photos (.jpg) in “C:\Documents and Settings\defaultuser\My Documents\My Pictures show up in the Display Properties, Desktop, Background list.

I have searched for a fix but the only way I can remove them from the background list is to move them from "My Pictures" into another folder.

If someone can tell me how to correct this, I would appreciate it. Thanks


XP pro V-2002, SP2
AMD Athlon 2400, 1.5 gb ram
HDD: (1) 40 gb WD (2) 120gb WD
 
Open your registry and go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Explorer\Wallpapers\Images

Delete the ones you don't want.
 
As I follow this path, after \Explorer\ my registry has \Window\ instead of \Windows\. Also, the only thing under \Window\ is MRU. Is there anyway around this?
