Display?

Hi Everyone,

Should I get a Sony Vaio Premium Display at 1900 by 1200 or a Macbook Pro High Resolution Anti-glare Display at 1680 by 1050?

What are you going to be using it for? Do you need that high 1900 x 1200 resolution?

Not directly related to Serenesam's question, it always puzzles me why manufacturers choose such odd sizes. If you take the 1900x1200, why wouldn't you make it at least 1920 so it can show HD at native resolution? To show full HD on either of those monitors the video has to be resampled.

It may vary by machine. What does the spec page say?

A VAIO Premium Display is a Full High Definition display. Premium displays allow you to enjoy the clarity and brilliance of a 1080p High Definition viewing experience wherever you take your EB Series notebook. Whether you're viewing a Blu-ray Disc™ movie, gaming, viewing photos, or just plowing through your workload, Premium displays deliver an industry-leading viewing experience marked by super-crisp hi-def detail, richer colors and a brighter picture.

You're right, sorry it is 1920 by 1080.
