DIY PC problems

I decided to put together my own PC after my old one(intel celeron D, nVidia 6200 se turbocache, 1 gig of ddr, old old gigabyte motherboard, windows xp) rated in the bottom 2% of computers tested. The new comp runs off a intel core duo extreme 6800, nVidia 7600 GT, 2 gigs of DDR2 OCZ, 600w OCZ power supply, windows vista 32 bit and a gigabyte 965p chipset motherboard. yet it still only rates in the bottom 10%.

Am i wrong in thinking it should rate higher??

Am i suffering from a bottle neck?

i see you have your own 3Dmark score posted. mine was 213- with old pc, now its 3691 with this one

when i run the test it runs through the graphics tests at 20 frames per second, not that good, but the cpu test runs at 2 fps

and do you think 2 fps for a cpu as new as the C2D extreme 6800 sounds right?? it runs at 2.93ghz 1033fsb unclocked

it is supposed to run at 1-2fps for the CPU test, that is how the test worked. it ramps of CPU usage them measures the time it takes your computer to process it.
