Greetings All,

....I have 2 tablets that I have repaired and set to factory defaults (not sure of version android OS on either of them)..... I need to install "Team viewer" and "Kik" on each of them.....

.....Every time I attempt to do this, I get some BS about having to open a gmail account:(:((which i refuse to do):mad:. I am VERY new to tablets so, be easy with any answers.....

....HOW can I accomplish this arduous task?...Thanks again!

Create the Gmail account, what's the big deal? That's the only way to do it. Can't even open the play store without creating the Gmail acount.

"F!!":mad::mad::mad::mad:.........so much fro that idea...UNLESS---------

I get maybe a friend to e-mail me the applications I desire and I attempt to install it as such....Will have to make some phone calls...

...Thanks for the responses.....I see that other than "...creating an account..", the forum is "blank" on this...

.... Was looking for a way OTHER THAN CREATING AN ACCOUNT...thanks anyway!

You can sideload your own APKs, but it's a giant pain in the ass compared to just making an account.

Not sure why you are so against doing things the straightforward way, you could have had this "issue" solved a long time ago..

There are none. We're not going to invent one...

...That short answer could have been rendered in the beginning to save the "unfruitful" responses tendered so far...Further, nobody asked anyone to "invent one".

People were just discussing your options, which I believe is only one: get a google account. This is a forum, in forums, we discuss topics, none of the answers were off topic. What's wrong?

On the tablet go into security settings and allow side loading of applications.

Download the latest version of Kik here: http://www.apkmirror.com/?s=kik&post_type=apps_post
Download the latest version of Team Viewer here: http://www.apkmirror.com/?s=team+viewer&post_type=apps_post

Without a Google account you will be unable to use any Google services, so any updates will need to come from manually side loading the application. Also note that starting in Android 5.2, you can not bypass the Google Account and you will need to enter one to use the device.

I believe my question, after much fanfare, has been answered. Thanks anyway....I asked a question that needed NO discussion, contained teh same general answers and, was eventually answered, and so, I will seek another route. Thanks anyway.

I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS GENERALLY UNANIMOUS THAT IT COULDN'T BE DONE EXCEPT BY THE "FORUM WAY" BY CREATING A GMAIL ACCOUNT?..

DON'T CARE AS I AVOID GOOGLE ANYWAY (SEE ABOVE AND PREVIOUS ANSWERS.

THANKS FOR THE RESPONSES FORUM..

"People were just discussing your options, which I believe is only one:"
YOU MEAN, MULTIPLE PEOPLE TELLING ME TO DO THE SAME THING IS A "DISCUSSION"? WHILE I APPRECIATED THE RESPONSES, THEY ALL GENERALLY CONTAINED THE SAME INFO. THAT ISN'T A "DISCUSSION".

"get a google account."
AND THAT WAS IN THE BEGINNING SERIES OF POSTS DISCLOSED BY ME THAT I DID NOT WANT TO CREATE ONE.

This is a forum, in forums, we discuss topics, none of the answers were off topic. What's wrong?
YOU MEAN POSTS CONTAINING THE SAME GENERAL INFORMATION OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER IS A DISCUSSION?....NO, IT ISN'T. HOWEVER THANKS ANYWAY FORUM.

You're very rude, you know that? We like to help, but we don't appreciate the attitude you always seem to have when you come here asking for help.

You can sideload your own APKs, but it's a giant pain in the ass compared to just making an account.

He told you this is what you could do way before Geoff did. You can always take some information and GOOGLE or YAHOO it and see where that pans out from instead of responding like you did.

It's not up to you to decide what kind of answers we will give you or if we will discuss your answers...

People are discussing the fact that you don't want a gmail account, because it's simple as abc to create a bogus one where you'll keep the password and only use for the tablet.

If people want to discuss, they are free to do so.
