.dll error

i have recently been struck with a problem. Everytime i try to open any program other than internet explorer i recieve an error message saying: "This application has failed to start because msnhgpfv.dll was not found. Re-installing this application may fix this problem. I have reinstalled numerous different programs to see if they would work after. no luck. i downloaded a free registry cleaner which also didnt fix it. i would appreciate any advice or help anyone can offer because im about out of ideas at this point lol. a google search didnt produce any results on it either.

you will need to re install your OS. My brother had a similar problem, just for a different dll. Re installing the OS is the only thing that worked for him.

alright, thats was my next move haha i was just delaying it to see if there were any alternatives. thank you very much for your help

Yeah, there's nothing else I think that you can do.

Well, maybe, if you have a recovery disk, you can use that.
