Hello,
Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but i am having some problems with internet when i try to open sites (like: bicycling.com) and there is always the same message appearing over and over again:
Service Unavailable - DNS failure
The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again later.

Reference #11.3c99e86e.1341128255.817baae

Could someone explain to me what this means please??
Thank you :)

Does this only happen with certain sites or does it happen with all sites (assuming you're not on the same computer to get in this forum)? And don't worry about your lack of knowledge; that's pretty rampant around here. Besides, you'll find a lot of helpful and knowledgeable folks.

If some websites work, and other don't, theres nothing you can do. I think even the ISP can't do anything. Only if the site is somehow censored by somebody, but i find it hard to believe that these days you are still censored..

Well, only some sites doesn't work, and i called the ISP and they told me they could not do anything and that i just had to wait. But it's been like 2weeks now... so i started using proxy servers
But, is it usual to wait that long for a DNS failure?
Thank you !!

Ok, maybe we should head in a different direction.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here or here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Please keep updating until it says you have the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • A log will be saved automatically which you can access by clicking on the Logs tab within Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

If for some reason Malwarebytes will not install or run please download and run Rkill.scr, Rkill.exe, or Rkill.com but DO NOT reboot the system and then try installing or running Malwarebytes. If Rkill (which is a black box) appears and then disappears right away or you get a message saying rkill is infected, keep trying to run rkill until it over powers the infection and temporarily kills it. Once a log appears on the screen, you can try running malwarebytes or downloading other programs.

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Vista and Windows 7 users must right click on the hijackthis icon and click on run as. If the run as option doesn't appear then press and hold the shift key while right clicking on the icon to get it to appear.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Post the logfile that HijackThis produces along with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware log

So you were infected? Can you post the mentioned.logs so we can make sure you are infection free.

A friend told me to unistall Malwarebytes because it will slow down my Norton... Will it display the same logsi got first if i reinstall it??

Malwarebytes is better than norton and it will not slow down norton. Norton will slow your system down though. If the logs are still there it all depends on how well it got uninstalled.

Then, should i replace norton to malwarebytes? ( but norton has all the other anti-spyware and other stuff doesnt it? )
Sorry for my late reply, my ISP had connection problems.
