Do any of you have this problem?

Hey guys.

I have a Samsung 933Gw screen. Its awesome, but it just seems too bright...

I have it on the lowest brightness settings, and its still so bright it hurt my eyes.

My brother has a Samsung 732NW, and his is on max settings, and it doesnt hurt my eyes...

Is there something wrong with my screen?

Also, the day i bought it, the image looked weird, and it took me about 2 weeks to get used to it. But with my bros screen, it looked fine (the day he got it)

Anyone else have this problem with your samsung screens?

you should be able to turn down the brightness in your video card's settings too. if it's still a problem, get one of those glare reducer shields or something. sunglasses would help, lol.

Yep, it's in the NVidia Control Panel

Right-Click Desktop > NVidia Control Panel > Adjust Desktop Color Settings

While you're in there, try Digital Vibrance @ 50%. It's a pretty nice effect.

Try using your screen on his computer and see if it makes a difference, then you'll be able to see if its the monitor thats just bright, or if its the graphics settings on your computer itself.
