Do I have a virus?

Hi, a couple of days ago a had the virus detailed here http://malwaretips.com/blogs/police-lock-screen-virus/ I managed to get it unblocked, ran loads of Malware programs including Malware bytes, which picked up lots of infections, but then I found this, I've attached a picture, I've been told it's likely the config to a Trojan, I've tried a windows format, but it still pops up on every restart, I just wiped the drive with Dban, when it was wiped, I followed instructions from someone to unplug machine, press power several times and then hold power button for 10 seconds, then I started the computer and formatted again using the windows 7 disk and installed windows, but after installing windows, there was a notepad document with the same title as the one pictured saying install, and on the next install it was back as it was before in the picture, if this is a virus, is there anything else I can do, I thought wiping the drive would be good enough

Please reupload your screenshot to something like Tinypic, as the attachment is far too small to be of any help.

Well, if you have totally wiped the drive then it can't be a trojan. Sounds like a something is making it popup on windows boot. Look in msconfig for any entries that may explain this. The path will end like this for example... file.txt

Maybe a windows misconfiguration of some sort.

Sorry, I did briefly consider the problem, but didn't have time to rectify, upon zooming in, I could sort of read it, just not very well. that was the original one I got before the format, I shall post the recent one now, it's on the other computer!

Thanks, I'll have a look into that and see if I can find anything

Ok. This is related to Gigabytes easysaver software. Just stop it from running at bootup. Check your msconfig startup utility and disable it.

Thanks, that's a massive weight off my shoulders, shame I had to do a ten hour drive wipe, but I suppose after having a virus which could potentially see people having key loggers on my computer and made me not check my bank or do anything to do with money, I suppose it's not going to hurt to wipe the drive, the process of backing up 230gb of data when the only other drive was in my laptop wasn't much fun though! I'm going to check that now, and hopefully breath a massive sigh of relief after 2-3 days of hell, thanks for the help!

Success! You were right, I couldn't find it so I just uninstalled easy saver, upon restarting, this was the result, I can now rest easy, thanks again!
