Do I need a N router

we live in the country and only get 1-1.5 mbps internet dsl. We can still stream netflix. We currently have a basic g netgear wireless router. Would a N600 netgear change anything since our net speed is so low. thanks ahead of time

No, it wouldn't.

It wouldn't make a difference for your internet access BUT if you ever copy files from one machine to another over the network then you will appreciate the speed improvement an N router will provide.

However, if the wireless devices are only capable of wireless G then the n router still won't help any.
