Do I need extra cooling for Core 2 Quad 2.83gh?

This question may sound ridiculous because its the first time I am building up a comp so everything new to me.

So do I need extra cooler for this chipset or the box cooler is enough. I am not gonna overclock to enormous values at least not right when I get it maybe in the future.

First, a Core 2 Quad is not a chipset, it's a processor. If you don't plan to do any serious overclocking then the stock cooler is fine.

Chipset is the main chip on the motherboard, aka the northbridge. The new 45nm quads run at pretty low temps compared to the 65nm quads, so you'll be ok with a stock cooler.
