Hey guys im kind of new at computers but im looking to hook up 2 sets of cold cathode lights (4 total) and install a new video card, 2gigs more ram, as well as an led fan to replace my current one and im wondering if i have enough power, the video card im buying is the

MSI N8400GS-TD512 GeForce 8400 GS 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Video Card

the power supply is stock and its 305w max output, here are my computer specs if needed.

Dell Dimension E510
Windows Vista (I know i hate it)
Intel Pentium D CPU 2.66GHz Dual Core
2gigs DDR2 Ram
600gig Harddrive
ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series 128mb video card

I just purchased this computer used and i just want it to be good for a few games (WoW, Cod)

That PSU is by no means good enough. You need 26A on the 12V rail from a quality manufacturer. Sorry but XXartanisxx doesn't have a clue if he/she thinks that PSU is suitable.

Get a 500 or 400 watt power supply from zipzoomfly. If you know what to look for they have good prices and probably free shipping.

He's fine, its only a 8400GS, i installed that gpu on a 300watt dell psu, w/ 18amps i beleive, dont quote me on that cause im not quite sure, but OP, you should be fine, don't install anything (lights/cathode) until you know the psu can run the 8400GS.

I'd leave this to bigfellla, he does know what he's talking about here... the resident psu expert :D
