Do most current MB's support booting with a usb Flashdrive?

I am soon putting together a system on a budget and was curious if modern boards support booting from a usb flash drive to install windows. I don't really need a dvd drive and don't want to have to buy one just so I can boot up windows from it. Thanks.
 
Indeed they do, it's been that way for a while so any new board with a properly-set-up USB drive can boot directly.

My rig doesn't have a CD/DVD drive in it either ;)
