Do video card brands matter?

Whilst the Asus is overclocked, id still go with the XFX. For starters, the cooling on it is second to none for a non aftermarket cooler, and secondly, its ALOT cheaper.
 
The Asus is more $$$ since it comes pre-overclocked, but liek elmarcorulz said, go with the XFX cuz the stock cooling is the best non-aftermarket there is.

Probably faster than the 6600, but not the 6600GT.

i just read a mag that did a huge comparison on cards and the 6600gt beat the x800gt, so assuming that teh 800gt is better than the 700, then ur statement is prolly wrong.

She's right. Nvidia Made there beter cards run GT at the end, and just to mess with them ATi made there GT cards the bad ones. :D i love it when companys do things like that :D
