Hi, I have been recently doing alot of photoshop, with help with online tutorials. Now I was considering getting dual screens so can have photoshop on one screen and tutorial on other, does anyone here use dual screens, if so what u think, worth while?
i have duel screens, its deffinately helpful for photoshop and a number of other programs. The only drawback that i see in them is if you have a budget grphics card and would like to play games, having the seconds screen on effects your games preformace just a wee bit. Also if you are using SLi you cant have SLi enabled when you have both screens enabled.
yes, i have no trouble playing WOW or COD2 with dual screens. the right screen just stays normal with whatever windows u have open, then the game just opens in the main screen. games do run a LITTLE slower. if this bothers u, then just disable the second monitor before u start the game.
Two monitors is definately very handy if you tend to have a lot of programs open at a time. Plus, you can have photoshop spread out over both monitors (although you have a step in the middle where there is no screen).
what i do is watch videos or view HQ scans or pictures on the 22 incher and use the 19 as a desktop. i like how putting the taskbar on the smaller screen so that the 22inch seems larger without it lol.
