do you need to have same size monitor for dual screen

Hi,
I had an asus 23" slim monitor and wanted to get a second one to use ati eyeinfinte to make as one for watching movies and some games maybe.

I was going to get a second 23" but decided on a 22" as it was cheaper. I didn't think it would be much difference but it does appear to be about 1cm or so difference lining at the top. If i was able to return it (properly not but if i could) and then get a 23" would that 1cm lining up make much of a difference or should i just stay 22" and 23". I'm just wondering if i have made a mistake or not as i usually second guesss my self.

Are you looking to do dual displays or eyefinity? Eyefinity is where you play a game on both screens at a time, in which case its better to have the same size but not required.

well dual display most of the time when just working and then when watching movies switch to eyefinity to have it take up both ( and occasionly games but i don't play a lot.) So i guess for movies and the occisionally game would the 1cm diff make much of a difference? The join part of the case breaks it up anyway.

Won't make too much difference, although gaming and watching movies on a 2 display eyefinity setup generally doesnt work as well as you would hope, since the center is where most action takes place, and with eyefinity, the center is a bezel.

ok thanks. You just help my second guessing myself. I new there would be a brezel in the middle. It is alittle annoring. I guess 3 monitors are better for eyefinity setuip for movies and games but i need to get a displayport adapter but all of them are $100 or more around me and others have expensive shipping so stuck with 2.
