I was thinking of uprading my computer ( its a dell dimesnion 3000) and I wanted to know if the Ati X1550 would be good to buy.

I Just want to play games like AOE 3 the sims 2 not the newest games.

I wouldn't recommend it, I would go with an 7900GS if you can afford it, or an x8 series.

well I dont think that a dell dimension 300 will support that graphics card cuz it only supports PCI

I wasn't sure which interface you had, if you only have PCI then the x1550 is about as good as you will get. My advice then is this, don't spend an outrageous amount of money so you can stick with a PCI card.
