Do you think 3770K will go on sale black friday, or should I buy it now?

i'd wait but if you live near a microcenter you wont find a better deal

Three years ago when I purchased my I7 920 it was nearly 100 dollars cheaper just like now how the 3770K is nearly 100 cheaper from micro than it is anywhere else. Idk what micro is doing over there but I'm glad I've got one close lol.

they have some deal so they always have the lowest retail price and with the combos they're just the best store in all of history

If you need to save money, why not go for an i5 3570K? Why do you need a 3770K?

Wait and see if the price gets reduced, if not, either save or just get the i5.

I Am Not Near A Microcenter.
I Already Knew About The Deal.

I NEED ANOTHER DEAL.

And why so mad bro, how was i supposed to know you knew and werent near one? And you could check if a friend is near one or going near one

Otherwise just watch newegg and tigerdirect and all

It certainly won't go up so if you don't need it as soon as possible then wait a few days and see. Newegg starts black friday sales on Wednesday at 1pm PST. The price for the 3770K is already pretty reasonable though so I have my doubts such a popular CPU would go on sale. If it does, it probably wouldn't be huge savings.

No, I will be using this PC mainly for work and need as much power as possible.

Tiger Direct is rumored to put the 3770K on sale for $249 on black friday.

Also it is now an $1800 build.

can you say exactly what the work is? some things benefit from the AMD FX8350 more than a 3770k, and idk what your current build is but you could prob move some things around and work in a 3930k if the processor is the most important part.
