RIght now i have an old PC and I'm going to be purchasing a laptop. I want to set it up so that when i dock my laptop it can use/share a wireless mouse, keyboard, speakers and monitor with my pc.

What is the best way to do this? Do they make like switches that i could plug all my peripherals into and flip them back and forward between the desktop and laptop?

thanks

I have personally never even heard of this. Is this for sure possible? I'll do some research though and see if I find anything.

EDIT: You may not want to do this even if it is possible. What if you need to be able to use both at once?

EDIT2: The closest thing I could find is Synergy.
Not quite what you wanted, but as close as I could get in a short amount of *Google*

Not understand what exactly you mean.
Modern laptop would have HDMI/ VGA output which you can use for monitor.
While for mouse/ keyboard, those usb should working.

He makes it sound like he wants one object that he can switch back and forth, in other words, not have like 4 cords every time.
