Does 939 support 754

No, but oddly enough i recently saw a motherboard that had both a 754 and a 939 socket on it, each socket had a pair of ram slots too... looked quite odd. i cant remember the make or model of it tho for proof :(

thats different from what i was on about, but that is one wierd piece of kit... cant imagine what that would do to the pci express bandwidth tho

saw that a while ago, it was reviewed in pcformat. Not looked into the board to much, anyone have any experience with it?

On some Asrock you can buy an upgrade kit from socket 754 to 939, but you cannot put a 939 proc in a 754 slot or the other way:)

Indeed you are correct however Socket939 still does not support a Socket754 chip :)

yeah, thats the one... it was in my local maplin store; dont think it was very popular cos they stopped selling it quite soon after i saw it
Yeah ASrock and ECS tend to do that ;)
